The symposium co-organized by the Centre for Greater China Studies, Assessment Research Centre, and Centre for Popular Culture and Education of the HKIEd addressing the theme “Creativity, Culture and Related Industries: Implication for Greater China Region” aims to initiate an in-depth discussion on the issues related to the development of creative industries and cultural policies in the Greater China Region with a view to exchanging views and creating collaboration initiatives among academia worldwide.
SUB-THEMES
1. Challenges and Prospects of Cultural and Creative Industries
2. Creative Industries and Education
3. Assessment of Creativity
4. Revitalization of the Cultural Heritage
5. Entrepreneurship of the Creative Industries
Papers that address any aspect of Creative and Cultural Industries under this broadly defined theme are invited. The interested parties should complete the attached abstract submission form and prepare an abstract of around 500 words. The completed formand abstract should be submitted to cgcs@ied.edu.hk on or before 30 March 2012 (Fri). All the paperabstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee prior to acceptance.
Please ensure that your abstract is in the same language as that you present at the Symposium (i.e. if you are planning to present in English at the symposium, your abstract and title should be in English.) Notice of acceptance will be issued by the midApril 2012 through e-mail.
