Job Opening: Staff Reporter for The Wall Street Journal (Hong Kong)
The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires are looking for a reporter to cover stock markets across Asia. The reporter, based in Hong Kong, will have a broad mandate to write about some of the world's fastest growing markets in real time for an audience of more than 10 million readers in Asia alone.

We are seeking a financially sophisticated writer who understands markets and how they interact with one another. We want someone who can tap into sources to break news while spotting trends that will surprise readers. The reporter will cover the markets in real time for Dow Jones Newswires, wsj.com and the Journal's popular Market Beat blog. Select stories will run in The Wall Street Journal and The Wall Street Journal Asia.

Previous experience covering markets is required. Languages are a plus as is experience covering real time news. The beat will focus on stock markets but when appropriate will include foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and energy markets.
