(Note: Asia Writes is not the organizer of this contest. We're just posting this on behalf of The Asian Writer, a UK-based initiative.)

As we’re approaching our fifth anniversary, The Asian Writer is pleased to announce a new short stories competition to showcase the best of Asian writing. We’re looking for short stories of up to 3,000 words in length on any theme but which include the word five. Winning entries will be presented in a published collection. £15 per entry, max three. All submitted entries must be new and original fiction.

Please pay for your entry before emailing your story. If you have a VIP membership please make the right selection to receive your 50% discount.

Email entries to editor@theasianwriter.co.uk with Short Stories Competition in the subject heading. Please include a short biography of no more than 75 words.

Closing date May 31st, 2012.

By submitting your entry to us you agree to our terms and conditions and the right for us to publish your entry in our collection. Short stories must be original and must not be previously published including on your own website or blog. All authors retain original copyright and if you’re entry is selected for publication, you will not receive a separate contract from us. Full terms and conditions available on request.
