Responsibilities:
Plan, source, cover and write news, features & opinion articles. Research for materials through interviews, events, internet and direct sources. Have proven ability to follow a beat, develop own stories, and possess own network of sources and contacts in entertainment industry. Manage multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Be able to perform and manage stories in a print, broadcast, and online media context.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Mass Communications or equivalent.
* Excellent command of written and spoken in Bahasa Melayu, passionate about Malaysian Entertainment & Lifestyle
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
* Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent.
* Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
* Creative outgoing and confident to interact with people of all levels
