The Educational Research Center (ERC) works for a continuously better education in the Arab world. It provides educational services, and produces research-based, field-tested learning materials at all grade levels.
Arabic editor - Educational Research Center
1. Editing and proofreading textbooks and related materials to the highest standards of style and accuracy
2. Ensuring processes and schedules are adhered to
3. Checking the quality of the typescripts throughout the copyediting process
4. Preparing and reviewing artworks with illustrators
5. Providing weekly reports of projects
6. Preparing and reviewing dummies
7. Doing researches to customize book editions
8. Reviewing final lasers, bluelines etc.
9. Troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions
Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Arabic literature or any related field
2. Excellent Arabic communication skills, both spoken and written
3. Ability to work under pressure and to meet exacting deadlines
4. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
5. Computer literacy and experience of Internet-based research
6. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
7. Great eye for detail
8. Professional appearance, energetic, friendly, enthusiastic, interacting, organized
