Write-O-Rama is a National-level Essay Competition where Final Year graduating students from all verticals can come and showcase their written skills on a national platform. It's an opportunity for them to share their views, ideas and opinions on the given topics and get feedbacks about it from the experts. It's a chance for the students to improve their analytical skills and get national exposure. It's all about being creative and showing your originality.

Guidelines for abstract submission
Topic for Essay
You must be registered with "Write-o-rama" for submitting your essay. Each participant is eligible to submit only one entry. Participant can choose any one of the given topics.

The Indian Education system works on a theoretical system while other countries adopt a more practical approach. Based on company reports, from the overall graduates that passed out last year, only 15% were employable. So, do you think our education system should be reformed?
* Penetration of drugs in college campus.
Youths are becoming more vulnerable to drugs these days. What kind of steps should be taken up in order to stop it?
* How can your college campus go eco-green?
What kind of initiatives should be taken up in order to make your college campus eco-green? Paper consumption is very high in college campuses, what needs to be done to reduce it?
* How Technology is helping to improve Education
The advent of new technologies has helped a lot in the Education sector. You can get access to any type of information you need about anything in an instant through the internet. How and in what ways has it helped in improving Education? Elaborate.

Who can participate?
Eligibility Criteria:
Final year graduating students and those who have recently graduated are eligible to take part in this competition.
Length and Format:
The essay should be written in about 1000-1500 words. Essays are accepted in the following formats: doc or docx
Language:
The essay should be written in English only.
Registration form:
Every student should fill in the registration form first in order to submit the essays. Essays from unregistered students won't be accepted.
Rules

* One person can submit essay only once for each topic
* If quoting some known person’s statement the name has to be given
* SiliconIndia reserves the right to publish and/or to make available to the public the winning submissions.
* SiliconIndia reserves the right to modify the format and content of the submissions for publication purposes.
* The decision of the Judges panel is final and is not subject to an appeal.
* Employees or Interns of SiliconIndia & its partner companies are not eligible to participate in the competition.
Evaluation
* Essays will be evaluated by a judge’s panel which consist the editors of SiliconIndia & Directors of Management College.
* Essays will be graded for their structure and coherence, originality and creativity and the use of thoughtful and concrete proposals/ examples.
* Essay will also have the weight age of public poll
* The clubbed score of public poll & Judges Panel will decide the winner
