Out of the desire to provide information-laden leisure and instructional materials for the majority of the Filipino consumers, publisher Ms. Marissa R. Enriquez came up with the idea of brewing up a company that would provide such. Armed with the know-how on running and publishing quality books—having been the moving force behind Marren Publishing House, Inc.—she officially gave birth to AMOS BOOKS, INC. on May 14, 2002.

We started in business with only a handful of books lifted from our sister company to distribute and revise. After a few years of existence, we have swiftly carved a name in the industry with our quality books, practical pricing, and personalized marketing. We now have over 200 titles to boast of—dictionaries, educational pocketbooks, cookbooks, children’s activity books, and textbooks. We started in 2002, the Editorial Department was the first to be established. Gradually, more people were hired to meet our growing needs.

Qualifications:

* M/F, 22 to 32 years old

* Graduate of AB English/Filipino/Communication Arts/Journalism or Education Courses

* Must have basic knowledge of editorial work;

* Proficient in oral and written English and Filipino

* Able to evaluate correctness and accuracy of content of a printed material

* With positive attitude, can work under pressure, and can complete projects within given deadlines

* Flexible and willing to work overtime
