EDITOR / ASSISTANT EDITOR (MAINLAND PUBLISHING) (Ref: EPP/030611)
Job Description:
1. Develop and execute book projects for mainland China & global market;
2. Commission authors and develop content ;
3. Assist the Publisher in facilitating good communication and cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong editorial teams ;
4. Provide timely support to the marketing teams based in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore & US;
5. Maintain good relationship with authors, business partners and media in Mainland.
Requirements:
1. Holders of Bachelor or above degrees of universities in Hong Kong and Mainland universities, major in Translation, Finance, Communication, Journalism, Media, Literature and Languages are preferred;
2. Working experience in publishing or journalism industry related is an advantage
3. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, and Cantonese speaking is preferred;
4. Articulated, independent and strong sense of responsibility;
5. Strong organizing, communication & interpersonally skills are must.
