The management of Zamboanga Today with its sister company Daily Zamboanga Times in partnership with Cebu Pacific announce that the last day for submission of entries for its Essay Writing Contest dubbed as "My Happy Trip" will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
Free Cebu Pacific round trip tickets to Davao, Cebu and Manila await the lucky winners.
The contest is open to all except immediate family members and relatives of employees of Cebu Pacific, Zamboanga Today and Daily Zamboanga Times and their advertising companies.
"Simply write an essay (600 words minimum) about your personal happy, fun-filled trip with Cebu Pacific. Please include in your essay the particular month and year when you traveled with Cebu Paficic. All entries must be written in English and may be accompanied by photos pertaining to the trip," the contest rules says.
The winning entries will be judged by its content, grammar and relevance. Winning entries will be published in the sponsoring partner publications. The judges' decision will be final and no protests or complaints will be entertained.
The winning entries will receive: 1st Prize - Two (2) roundtrip tickets - Zamboanga-Manila-Zamboanga; 2nd Prize - Two (2) roundtrip tickets - Zamboanga-Cebu-Zamboanga; and 3rd Prize - Two (2) roundtrip tickets - Zamboanga-Davao-Zamboanga.
"So far we have almost a hundred entries since May 1, the start of submission of entries. The more entries you submit, the better your chances to win," said Hader Glang, Zamboanga Today assistant editor, one of the judges of the essay writing contest.
Submission ends on May 31, 2011 and late entries will not be accepted. All winners by the end of the contest period will be notified by registered mail and must claim their prizes personally from the sponsoring partner publications.
