Yonsei University College of Medicine is seeking qualified individuals for the position of English Editor/Speech Writer.

Duties:

- Edit research papers of College of Medicine professors
- Edit various English documents, conference presentation materials and official letters
- College of medicine International Exchange Duties
- Edit English periodicals and magazines for the College of Medicine
- Provide other English-related administrative support
* This job is for EDITING, not for Korean-English/English-Korean translation

Qualifications:

- Native English speaker or a resident of an English-speaking country for at least 10 years.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and speaking skills. Good understanding of Korean society and culture.
- 1 year or more experience in editing after acquiring BA/BS or MA/MS

Preferred:

- Formal editing experience (1 year or more)
- Communicative Korean language skills
- Major in relevant scientific fields

Terms and Conditions:

- Contract: 1 year (extensions available).
- Working Period: from August/2011
- Salary: Monthly 2,800,000KRW - 3,300,000KRW* *Salary is negotiable.
- Housing is not provided. However, campus housing (dormitory) is available at the employee's expense (15,000KRW/day)
