Call for Submissions: Shinshi, a New Haiku Journal
About Shinshi

It is our belief that great poetry should cut to the heart of the subject matter, that it should capture the essence of the poet's sentiment. It is for this reason that we are called Shinshi, roughly meaning "Poetry of the Heart of Things". It is our goal to publish on the aesthetics of haiku, senryu, zappai, and similar forms.
