Mushaira Jashn-e-Bahar 2011 will be held on Friday, April 8th 2011, at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi. Distinguished Urdu poets from India and abroad will participate in the mushaira that marks the 12th year of the Jashn-e-Bahar Trust.
Honorable speaker Lok Sabha, Meira Kumar saheba, has consented to be the chief guest at the mushaira that will be presided over by Chief Election Commissioner, Janab S Y Quraishi. Honorable Mr. Justice Markandey Katju, Judge, Supreme Court, will be the guest of honour.
Eminent Urdu poets from Egypt, the USA, the UAE, Canada, Pakistan and India will recite their latest compositions at the mushaira organized on the theme of the new global identity of Urdu.
