Skills
The job would require the candidate to be a great writer with superb command of Arabic and preferably English. He or she must have an understanding of what users like to read based on their demographics, and be able to come up with article ideas.
The staff writer also needs to efficiently communicate online with various kinds of users, and help foster and guide the conversations that they are having on the communities. The candidate needs to be very familiar with the different social networking sites and preferably have pre-existing accounts on the major ones like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
In a nutshell, you need to have:
1. Excellent Arabic writing skills (Grammatically correct, appealing, and target relevant)
2. Very good English writing skills (Grammatically correct)
3. Understanding and familiarity with all the major social networking sites
4. Basic video and audio editing knowledge, willingness to learn
