Online Content Editor (E-Dell)-110005N6
The Global Public Online Marketing team is responsible for driving awareness and consideration of Dell’s solutions, products, and services for our Public customers (education, government, healthcare) via Dell.com, social media, and external online communities. The team is focused on transforming the Public dell.com web site to deliver a best-in-class, personalized and engaging customer experience globally.
The Public Site Editor will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving online content and customer-facing documents for Dell.com. The site editor will collaborate with messaging, marketing, marcom, and sales teams to develop original, differentiated, and relevant site content. The individual will develop material and manage projects for a range of business purposes, ranging from Public vertical solutions content to interactive community information to banner copy for marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
· Work with subject matter experts to distill key marketing messages related to solutions, technologies, and marketing campaigns
· Identify relevant content to feature on the site
· Coordinate content and merchandising roadmaps for Public Dell.com and Premier, including alignment with Marcom and Messaging teams.
· Write and edit copy for the entire site
· Create lead generation campaigns
· Manage all banners and graphics development via in-house and agency design resources
· Lead recurring core team meetings with internal and external subject matter experts to keep the sites up-to-date, based on changes in messaging, content, lead generation activities, parallel marketing programs and new product launches
· Manage projects to optimize for both customer experience and reach/engagement/conversion
· Manage online content to drive site traffic and optimize customer pathing
· Identify and execute online marketing tests and report on results
· Partner with rest of Public Online team to develop a customer driven site, and incorporate innovation into daily activities
· Execute on the Solutions & Services transformation strategy
· Incorporate site monetization and third-party vendor (creative agencies) work as necessary
Qualifications
We are looking for a strong team player with a positive, energetic and "can-do" attitude. The Public Site Editor should possess the following education, experience, and skills:
· Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
· Candidates must have superior competency in written communications skills and marketing strategy for Public customer audiences.
· Additionally attention to detail and customer focus are critical to success.
· Technical acumen and drive for results are required as well
· 5-10 years of marketing experience in online or high tech is preferred
· Prior project management experience a plus
