"Women of China" Book Journalist Needs an Editorial Assistant
Well-known British journalist's new book projects in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, China involve interviews with young mothers. She needs to find an organize accompanying translator/ editorial assistant for interview notes. The work will involve simultaneous translation (Chinese into English) when interviewing Chinese women in Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu to assist the English editor. Each interview will last around 1.5 hours and we will do two/three interviews per day. The job also involves the transcribing of each entire interview into english onto a word document for the editor. There will be 20 interviews in total. The interviews will begin on march 23rd in shanghai and run for two weeks until april 6th. All expenses such as flights to the cities, hotel and food will be covered.

Total fee = rmb4000 (depending on qualifications and experience). This book about women of China will be published by jigsaw international in July 2011 and the editorial assistant will be credited in the book.
