HoodHot Travel is dedicated to making travel more accessible, and is looking for a responsible and talented City Editor to lead development of a city guide for Seoul. You (and your team, if you choose to assemble one) will be working closely with our team (made up of Berkeley grads and ex-Senior Scientists at Apple) to create the world's best city guide from the ground up. Not your average Lonely Pluto or Frommage guides - we're young and stylish, and we demand that our guides be, also.
We've started the work for you - we currently have 6 travel apps with an average rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 on the iPhone App Store, and are working on a groundbreaking new way to enhance travel, especially for those that do not speak the native language. But we need your local insight to develop new guides and make our current apps even better. In addition, you will work with our Marketing Lead to create and implement innovative local campaigns and promotions to directly drive sales of current and future guides. For Seoul, this will predominantly be a Taxi Guide similar to those we have made in the past for other cities - see our other products here for reference: http://hoodhottravel.com/products/taxi-guides. Your job is to complete the guide, verify the information, and keep it up to date, and this position is a renewable 6-month to 1-year commitment.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail, and students with examples of past work will be given interview priority. Foreign language ability is a must.
