To reward our members who share their travel experiences in China, we are holding a travel story contest: “My China Travel Journal in 1000 Words“ from March 9th to May 9th 2011. Writing an original travel story about your China travel experiences in no less than 500 words to gain double gift points (1000 gift points) and have a chance to win the first prize-a check for $ 300 USD.
The Requirements
1. Contributors should be registered users of Chinatravel.com.
2. The travel story should be original.
3. The words of the travel story should be no less than 500.
4. The Content should be relevant , useful, readable and suitable for the intended audience.
5. No political, religious or sex content will be allowed.
The Prizes
1. Appreciation Gift: A contributor will receive 1000 gift points for each eligible travel story.
2. First Prize: A check for $ 300 USD.
3. Second Prize: a China Travel Gift Coupon for $100 USD.
4. Third Prize: A China Travel Gift Coupon for $50 USD.
5. The Most-Popular Category Photo winners will receive a China Travel Gift Coupon for $ 25 USD. (not chosen by our panel of judges, but instead directly "chosen" on the basis of your diggs).

1. Is there a maximum number of stories I can submit?
Yes, the maximum number is 10. You can submit as many as 10 stories as long as they are original and meet the entry requirements.
2. How can I make use of my China Travel gift points?
The gift points system is one of the ways China Travel rewards its website contributors. You may exchange your gift points for China Travel coupons and gifts. The more points you collect, the greater your "purchasing power".
