Junior Web Editor
Responsibilities:
• Develop the website and use of other new media to reach out to the members of the society
• Produce and edit content for a wide range of purposes and users for the society’s website and ensure that content is fresh, up-to-date
• Report regularly on website usage and seeking to improve SEO
• Work closely with design, marketing and advertising teams
Requirements:
• University graduate in Journalism, Communication or Linguistics or related studies
• Minimum 1 year experience in journalism, writing and publishing in any media
• Proficiency in MS Office and Internet usage with knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver & Photoshop a plus
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Excellent team player who is able to work under great time pressure
• Strong co-ordination & communication skills
• Highly responsible, independent and adaptable to change
