English / Legal Editor (National Capital Reg - Bonifacio Global City, Taguig)
Responsibilities:
* The editor will review, proofread and edit/revise documents to ensure English correctness and clarity of the document. Documents include letters and other forms of correspondence, reports, articles, agreements and other legal documents.
* The editor may be asked to write short articles, reports, abstracts of articles and meeting minutes.
* Maintains confidentiality of information in respect of the affairs of the Firm.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism or Communications.
* Degree in Law or experience / exposure to legal documents an advantage.
* Excellent English communications skills
* At least 2 years solid experience in editing, preferably gained from a multinational company
* Must have an eye for details, has sound customer service orientation and a team player
* Writing experience is an advantage
* Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook is a must, knowledge in PowerPoint an advantage.
* Exceptional work ethic, personal and professional integrity, maintains confidentiality of all work done
* Flexible and willing to work in various shifts, including the graveyard shift
