Popcorn Media Network is an online media company based in Hong Kong.
We are looking for an experienced Chinese news editor for our sites. The candidate MUST have experience in churning out content in the fast paced news world and have experience in writing for the following categories: fashion, beauty, wine & dine.
Applicants for Editor position must have at least 3 years experience editing for an established online media or newspaper in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate should have knowledge on writing for online platform, able to moderate readers’ comments and manage regular updates.
Requirements
* Excellent command of written traditional Chinese and Proficiency in Simplified Chinese is an added plus.
* Excellent command of spoken English
* Good translation skills
* Able to produce quality work within tight deadlines
* Conduct interviews and attend industry events and functions
* Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in an editorial capacity – writing, sub-editing and have managed a team of writers
* Have knowledge on writing for online platform, able to moderate readers’ comments and manage regular updates
* Keen interest and knowledge in fashion/ beauty/ wine is required
