Creative Web Content Writer
Currently, Triad Web Design is seeking few Web Content Writers. The Web Content Writers will work with the SEO team to perform research and develop a high quantity of focused, high-quality articles and other textual web content for various marketing initiatives for various client websites.
Responsibilities:
* Craft imaginative and persuasive marketing copy, drawing out key benefits and illustrating in human terms what the products/services means to the customer
* Develop a high volume of creative and engaging web content in the form of articles, blog posts and other textual web content.
* Produce text, from concept to final draft, for product/services websites, microsites, splash pages, banners and emails
* Works with other creative and marketing professionals to fine-tune concepts into effective and practical marketing campaigns
* Research new products to understand key selling points
* Proofread and validate content for accuracy and consistency
* Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Requirements:
* BA/BS in communications, marketing, English, public relations, journalism or related field
* Online portfolio or samples of writing work (will not be considered unless provided)
* Hands-on contributor with 1+ years of post-graduate, full-time writing experience
* Experience in an e-commerce, retail, interactive agency or online journalism environment
* Comfortable producing in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
* Ability to adapt to the voice of each brand and target copy to a diverse audience, for instance, professional and consumer segments
* Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities
* A command of the English language, impeccable grammar and familiarity with AP style
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Extraordinary attention to detail
* Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Self motivated, with a helpful attitude and a strong desire to learn
* Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Knowledge of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) and ability to use content to deliver marketing messages
Hours:
Employee is expected to be in the office during Regular Day Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday).
