Job Description

LBi Mena (www.lbi.com) based in Dubai Media City is looking for a freelance content editor to start as soon as possible.

Main responsibilities:

· Responsible for all copywriting, editing and content publishing duties for the client website in BOTH English and Arabic

· Translation of English copy into Arabic

· Publishing of copy and images to the live English and Arabic website using the CMS – note that training in the CMS will be provided

· Research the web for press related to the website, and re-publish to the website

· Update of social media channels, specifically Facebook and Twitter

· Liaise directly with the client(s) to review content updates and gather additional content as required

· Occasionally attend events related to the website to create new, exclusive content for publishing to the website

· Work closely with the LBi Content Manager and wider team to keep the website and related social media site up-to-date

Skills & experience required:

Mandatory requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in BOTH English and Arabic
  • Experience with writing copy for online
  • Client liaison skills

Other requirements

  • Ideally you will have an English degree or similar
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS); ideally EpiServer (although training will be provided)
  • Experience working in an online agency environment beneficial
  • Able to use image editing tools such as Photoshop or similar
  • Passion for Social Media

You must have the necessary work visa as we cannot offer sponsorship at this stage. There wil be occasional travel by car (or taxi) to Abu Dhabi (around 1hr from the LBi MENA Office in Dubai).

The freelance role will for an initial period of 1 month and is likely to extend.
