Men’s Health – the world’s largest men’s lifestyle title – requires a senior writer to join its Malaysian edition. You do not have to be a fitness freak but you do have to have a genuine interest in the things that are important to Malaysian men – health, fitness, relationships, style, tech and, of course, nutrition. As an international title with a formidable reputation you should of course be able to craft entertaining and informative copy with your eyes closed. The nature of the job also dictates that you be a capable sub who is able to assist the editor in some of the more day-to-day administrative and managerial tasks of running a magazine.
Senior Writer - Men's Health (Selangor - Petaling Jaya)
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
* A minimum of four years’ writing experience in the mainstream media.
* One year of experience sub-editing on a newspaper or magazine.
* Impeccable knowledge of US and UK writing styles.
* A working knowledge of digital and online media.
* Excellent people skills.
* Ability to work under pressure independently and with others.
* Flexibility with working hours and a willingness to work hard.
* Own transport.
