The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) is an international professional association of broadcasting organisations with over 200 members located in about 60 countries. The ABU is seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the position of:
Editorial Assistant/Webmaster (Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Publications Officer in the design, layout and production of magazines, books, brochures and marketing/promotional materials, etc
* Daily maintenance of the ABU’s website content. Construction of new website pages and adding new features
* Performing online research to gather news and information relevant to the broadcasting industry, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region
Requirements:
* Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma in Graphic Design, Creative Multimedia or relevant working experience
* Required skills in: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, QuarkXPress, HTML, Dreamweaver, PHP
* Preferred skills: writing skills, desktop publishing experience
* Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia
* Applicants must have an eye for detail
* Applicants should be able to work in both Mac and PC environments
* Those who possess effective communication and writing skills will be at an advantage
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
