Interactive Services Officer (Content Editor) ( Ref: JISO(CE) )
The Department
Our Interactive Services Department is responsible for the management and development of the fast growing electronic betting channels, including the web-based Online Betting Service (eWin), the Mobile Betting Service (New) for mobile phones, and various other “high-tech” betting devices. These interactive channels in total serve over 600,000 customers and contribute over one-third of the Club’s betting turnover.
The Job
You will
* be responsible for the quality and accuracy of the content on the Club’s betting-related websites in both Chinese and English
* write, update and edit original copy for the betting-related websites and to benchmark existing content with best practices
* review and edit promotion-related copy on an as-needed basis
About You
You should have
* a degree in Journalism, Communications or Language (specialisation in Chinese Language with certificate or higher qualification in English preferred)
* at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in FAQ and or other technical writing, preferably in the web / mobile industry.
* experience in HTML and MS Office. Experience with Interwoven CMS would be an asset
* ability to write clearly and concisely in both Chinese and English writing.
* knowledge in e-commerce / m-commerce content editing is an advantage
* ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An initial three-year contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate with an option for renewal or conversion to career terms subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
