Responsibilities:

  • Critiquing essays from college students in the US, Canada and Australia
  • Addressing higher & lower order writing concerns (content development, (grammar, etc)
  • Offering tips and pointers to help students develop essays efficiently
  • Emphasis is on teaching/guiding the student towards appropriate revisions. No proofreading or editing.

Job details:

  • Process similar to workshop evaluations
  • Writing Consultants will undergo one week paid training
  • No face to face consultation; only written work will be evaluated
  • Output-based
  • Office-based
  • Full-time positions only
  • Office is located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City (Philippines)

Advantages:

  • Manage paycheck and earn as much as PHP20, 000 per month
  • Incentives given regularly based on performance

Requirements:

  • College graduate
  • Excellent written English
  • Has an undergraduate degree in a writing intensive field (e.g. Literature, Communications, etc)
  • computer literate; knowledgeable with online research and relevant applications (MS Word and Excel)
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to teach written English (such as content development and grammar) in a clear and efficient manner
