We are seeking an experienced web editor to oversee a new range of special interest sites on scmp.com. You are expected to lead initiatives in the continual improvement of the sites as well as write and edit original copy for our websites, and also to source relevant material for updating.
Ideal candidates should have experience in HTML and a working knowledge of blogging platforms such as Wordpress and publishing systems like Drupal. He/She should also have a newspaper or magazine editing background. Ability to read Chinese would be an advantage.
