We specialize in providing translation and native editing services for business documents, college applications, and theses.
We are currently recruiting freelance native editors who are native speakers of English.
1. Freelance Native Editors
- We work with more than 3,000 clients every year to provide translation services on theses, essays, and other documents. Among the native editors who are registered with us at www.worldforms.com will be recruited as our freelance editors through the following procedure.
- We currently have about 30-40 registered freelance native speakers of English working with us, and they are making KRW 300,000-1,000,000 in off-peak season (summer) and up to KRW 500,000-2,000,000 in peak season, which is between September and March.
1) Kinds of Native Editing Services and Service Fees
- We are paying our native editors KRW 30/word for Grammar Service (GS, 15,000KRW per page), KRW 50/word for Structure Service (SS, 25,000KRW per page), and KRW 100-150/word for Consulting Service (CS, 50,000-75,000 KRW per page) based on the number of words after editing.
※Grammar Service (GS): This focuses on correcting errors in grammar, spelling, and usage. Editors will correct all grammatical, spelling, and wording errors, resulting in a polished, professionally copyedited application essay. Since there are no correction or need for suggesting content improvements, there are less than 10% of change.
※Structure Service (SS): This service includes Grammar Service + correcting or suggesting content improvements. Editor will suggest content improvements, correct grammatical and stylistic errors. Editor does not merely write a critique of essay; instead, editor corrects and makes changes to essays. Editor will rework the introduction to provide a good impression and will edit the conclusion to establish a sense of closure. There may be an increase or decrease to the entire document per request of the client, or revising the composition or content and have a total of 10-30% of change.
※Consulting Service (CS): This service includes Grammar Service + Structure Service + personal consulting through phone, email, or messenger. Editor helps clients with all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming and topic selection to the outlining and editing of final draft by phone or email. editor will bring out client's creativity, weed out bad ideas, and distill the most compelling aspects of client's background.
2) Qualifications of Freelance Native Editors in English
- Must be a non-Korean who has attended accredited English-speaking educational institutes for more than 10 years.
- Master’s degree/doctorate degree/MBA degree holders preferred
- In-service middle/high school teachers and college professors welcome
3. Freelance Native Editor Registration
- If you don’t want to register at our website but want to be freelance native editors, you may send us your resume at essay@worldforms.com (forwarding to Mr.Yang Hyun, Recruiting Manager). If you are qualified to become our registered freelance native editor, we will contact you and offer you to sign an agreement with us.
