Leading regional media group BluInc Media is looking for a talented “senior editor” for its expanding print and online publishing portals.

The chosen applicant will join a team of editors responsible for the content, quality and timely production of a quarterly, bi-lingual (English/Chinese) business aviation print magazine and an expanding online platform.

The editor will be responsible for a full range of editorial tasks including, assisting editor-in-chief with reporting and writing as required, and preparing copy for print / web publishing.

- Arrange the working schedule for editorial team and coordinate with the other teams to commit the deadlines;
- Interviewing, developing story ideas;
- Editing for style and grammar;
- Internet research for the market information, etc.
- Coordinate with the freelancers and consultants for the articles
- Coordinate with Sales, Events, Circulation teams for editorial support
- Proof reading of inkjet and blueprint in Shanghai, ensure the quality of the magazine

Required qualifications:

- Native English speaker, a degree of professional writing, journalism, communications or a related field (required)
- Experience, knowledge and interest for aviation related topics (required)
- Good intelligence of aviation industry (required)
- Basic Spoken Mandarin skill
- 2 years or more working experience in Media for editorial related position
- Familiarity with web-based publishing platforms preferred
- Excellent writing/research skills
- Attention to detail
- Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize
- Ability to prioritize concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to challenging deadlines
- Work well under pressure and team work
- Dedicated, passionate and hard working
