Job Description
1. Cover stock markets live – report on stocks, markets
2. File analytical stories covering topical aspects of the stock markets
3. Coordinate with the Business Channel to get the best stock markets coverage on the website
4. Network with brokers, market participants, fund managers to get the best markets opinion on the site.
5. Manage the Markets reporting team in Mumbai and ensure timely delivery & quality of content
Team Management: Markets reporting team in Mumbai. Currently, 2 positions will report to the person. Number of people could expand based on requirement
Candidate Profile
* Strong exposure to stock market reporting, well networked in the broker/fund manager community.
* Good writing skills – should be able to churn out quick, incisive copies considering the live nature of the site.
* Should have worked in a news based operation in a business newspaper, website.
* Should have at least 7- 8 years experience
* Preferably an MBA / MFC / MBE or a post graduate journalism degree holder with commerce/economics graduate degree
