The Kolkata Book Fair Opens January 26th (free entry)
Dates: 26 January - 6 February 2011

The Kolkata Book Fair will open on January 26th and as a tribute to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, no entry fee will be charged to visitors. This is the 35th edition of the book fair and the year 2011 is incidentally the 150th birth year of Tagore. Chief guest of honour for 2010 is Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Honorable Chief Minister, West Bengal. The fair will close on February 6th.
