We are currently looking for a Sub-Editor to work on our Global Insight country analysis (Middle East) and industry (Telecoms) services. The ideal candidate for this position will have editorial experience and knowledge of working with Content Management Systems. A relevant arts or humanities degree is required. Please note that this is a purely editorial role and does not involve any writing.
Responsibilities:
* To ensure quality and consistent editing of text for the Global Insight country analysis and industry services.
* Editing to tight daily deadlines, ensuring adherence to house style.
* Liaising with analysts regarding coverage and maintaining a knowledge of current affairs, and detailed knowledge of specific regions and industries.
Requirement/Experience:
* A relevant arts or humanities degree.
* Able to work to a high level of accuracy while meeting tight deadlines.
* Organisational skills.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Excellent command of the English language is a must.
* Language skills and a strong interest in international affairs.
