The Refugee Studies Centre seeks a Communications and Publications Assistant to support and extend the work of its outreach and dissemination operations. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual wanting to further develop his or her communications skills and publishing experience in a context which combines academic and humanitarian interests. The position will report to the Research and Information Manager but the post-holder will provide some support to, and work alongside, a wide range of RSC staff.
The successful candidate will need to have a high level of computer literacy, good editorial skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied and demanding workload. The position is for 20 – 25 hours/week, for nine months in the first instance.
