The essay writing contest is open to all high school students, nationwide.
PRIZES:
* First prize : P25,000 and one personal computer unit each for the winner and his/her school
* Second prize : P15,000
* Third prize : P10,000
* Finalists : Consolation prized (P5,000)

Contest Mechanics:
1. Participants are required to compose an original essay based on the theme, "I HOLD THE FUTURE: PRESERVING THE PHILIPPINE BIODIVERSITY".
2. Essays must be written in the English language with 1,000 to 1,500 words.
3. Essays must be encoded on a short bond paper (8.5” x 11”) using 11pt. Arial font. No names or identifying marks must be written on the essay.
4. Deadline for submission of entries is on November 6, 2010.
5. All submitted entries will undergo a screening process to determine the top 5 finalists.
6. The 5 finalists will then be invited for an on-the-spot essay contest on December 10, 2010. Awarding of the winners will be on the same date.
Submission of entries:
1. All essays must be accompanied by a fully accomplished entry form (download ENTRY FORM). Enclose 5 copies of your essay in a short brown envelope and submit it for free at any 2GO outlet nationwide. On the envelope, write your name, name of your school, complete address and contact details, and the 2GO outlet where you submitted your essay.
2. Entries may also be submitted online by accomplishing the entry form and uploading your file.
