In this second installment of Shadows & Light, we are looking for all varieties of fantasy fiction (epic, heroic, sword & sorcery, dark, etc) that are told from the perspective of light (heroic, GOOD character) or shadows (an unrepentant villain, EVIL character).
Stories should be written in the third person. We prefer short stories in the 4,000-7,000 word range, but will consider stories from 1,500-15,000 words. Payment is $0.01/word (up to $40.00 cap), plus 1 contributor's copy upon publication. Submissions will be accepted until 31 October 2010. Tentative Release Date: Winter 2010.
