Paying Market: Asian Geographic (for various book projects)
Calling all contributors/photographers!

Oceans Edition
(and ASIAN Geographic's annual "Green" Edition)
Submission DEADLINE: 15 October 2010

In honour of the big blue, this edition will celebrate the seas and oceans of Asia in every light that ASIAN Geographic is famous for. It will cover the over and under of the element where life is said to have begun.

Dual Hues Edition
Submission DEADLINE: 1 December 2010

The Dual Hues Edition will be one of the most unique editions where the reader will experience a throwback from the past. With a strong historic sway, the issue will only feature photographs that are B&W, plus one other colour (thus the dual hues theme). Topics addressed will include the likes of the Vietnam War, depictions of the revolutions in Asia from monarchy to democracy, significant events of independence and noteworthy policies that were responsible for Asia's change of face and function.

Festivals Edition
Submission DEADLINE: 2011

In contrast to the edition before, this edition will quite easily be the most colourful edition to date. ASIAN Geographic will attempt to capture the extreme joys in this vast region and the stunningly unique ways Asians start a real party.

Islam Edition
Submission DEADLINE:2011

This edition will be one of the most unique editions that very few magazines will have the courage to attempt. It will take on the empire of Islam and bring it forth to our 45,500 readers in one of the most interesting and creative ways.

Science Edition
Submission DEADLINE:2011

The world of science is indeed daunting. This very fact makes this edition a challenge, not merely to address the glory of science, but to capture it in the even greater expanse of Asia. This edition will also address the fascinating topic of the future, where many seem to think lies very much in the Asian region.

Architect Asia Edition
Submission DEADLINE:2011

Asia is home to a plethora of the world’s most iconic buildings. This edition will look into the insides and out – the famous interiors and iconic exteriors – of Asian architecture, covering the cultures, heritage and innovation of Asia.

Coffee & Tea Edition
Submission DEADLINE:2011

Ahhh yes, sit back, relax and take a sip of what will be ASIAN Geographic’s most soothing and yet most perky edition. The contrast is amusing and ASIAN Geographic will look at two of the most famous drinks in the history of mankind. On the side, ASIAN Geographic will also look at some of the most unique and famous desserts in Asia.

Photo Annual - Wildlife Asia
Submission DEADLINE:2011

Finally, ASIAN Geographic comes home in our award-winning edition. This edition will tell the captivating tale of Asia through photography and showcase the enthralling diversity of this region through Asia’s wildlife.

NOTE: PAYMENT for all contributors will be processed 60-90 days after the issue has been taken off the shelves (USUALLY at the end the issue month).
