Official Announcement: 3rd Korean Essay Contest for Foreign Nationals

Busan Foundation for International Activities(BFIA) and Pusan University of Foreign Studies(PUFS) is holding the 3rd Korean Essay Contest in order to promote understanding of Hangul and motivate expatriates who study Korean language. We look forward to your participation in this event.

01. Overview

Date & Time : October 9, 2010, 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m

Venue : International Conference Room at Busan Cultural Center

Contest Divisions : Essay & Poetry

Topic will be announced on the contest day.

The contest is brought to you by Busan Foundation for International Activities(BFIA) and Pusan University of Foreign Studies(PUFS)

02. Awards

First Place(2 winners) : A certificate and 700,000KW

Second Place(2 winners) : A certificate and 400,000KW

Third Place(2 winners) : A certificate and 300,000KW

Special Award(2 winners) : A certificate and 100,000KW

03. Application

Due by September 29, 2010

Qualification

All foreign nationals who have residing in Busan.

No limitation on the length of stay in Korea.

Any of previous participants who won the first place for the last two years will not be eligible for this contest.
