Writers WANTED!
CROP - MGU New Student Creative English Journal
We need creative writers for this new student journal project!
This year, the English Literature Department will begin to publish a student journal of original creative writing; “CROP” Creativity Rising Original Production. Crop will be published twice a year, electronically online, and also in paper magazine form.
ALL MGU STUDENTS are welcome to submit their work for publication.
Our Policy
1. All MGU student and OB/OG (graduated within 3 years).
2. Writing in ENGLISH only.
3. All forms of original creative work are acceptable.
4. Refrain from excessively violent or sexual words and descriptions.
Forms of Writing and Length of Submissions
Essay: 2,000 words
Short Story: 4,000 words
Poem: 1,000 words
Other Original Work: 2,000 words
Your level of English is not important! Being creative is important! Expressing yourself is fantastic! We want your original writings and advisers can correct and edit your work. So please feel free to submit your creative writings in English.
NOTICE!
The FINAL deadline for submitting your work is OCTOBER 5th.
Please send Questions & Submissions to the Chief Editor at crop@ltr.meijigakuin.ac.jp. This project will be an excellent opportunity to express yourself!!!
