Deadline: open
Submissions are now open for the second (December) and subsequent issues.
Issue one of nether is finally in print and includes some brilliant new poetry and short fiction from young writers really kicking up the contemporary scene. Also featured is a conversation with poet Ranjit Hoskote and two new poems. Our issue is available by post and other guerrilla methods( so we might barge into poetry readings and other events happening in the city). We're trying out the Cash-On-Delivery service, so you pay our kind courier friend only when it's delivered to you. The magazine is priced at Rs.50 (+ delivery charges).
nether is a quarterly magazine in print for literature and the arts located in Bombay, India. Our focus is on all the potential variations in the sphere of contemporary writings from India and across. We read all forms of writing: poetry, short-fiction, drama, non-fiction, dreamprose, vignettes, graphic fiction and anything else which might disquiet us. You can also submit artworks/sketches/photography but for now we'll only be able to consider B/W works.
