Lions Club Tamil Essay Competition
Date: 11 September 2010

Lions Club International is organising an essay competition for Class IX students.

Topic: ‘Ulaga Tamizh Semmozhi Manadu – Kovai 2010'.

Date and venue: September 11 at 10 a.m. at Thiagi N.G.R. Higher Secondary School, Kamaraj Road.

Rules:
They should write in Tamil for 45 minutes. The competition was open for students from Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Tirupur districts. It was part of the organisation's efforts to promote linguistic affinity. Students appearing for the test should bring all the writing materials, carry an authorisation letter from the head of the institution and each school was permitted to send only five students.

Prize:
first prize winner would be taken to Malaysia.
