Here are the winners of the poetry competition held in connection with the World Classical Tamil Conference at Coimabtore last July:
First prize: Puducherry University Assistant Professor, Tamil P Ravikumar.
Second prize: Trichy Anna University English Lecturer Ms N Kanmani
Third prize: H G Rasul from Thakkalai in Kanniyakumar district
The winners took home a total of Rs 2.75 lakhs and medals, presented by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
