Tamil Ravikumar Wins World Classical Tamil Poetry Award
Puducherry University Assistand Professor, Tamil Ravikumar, won in the poetry competition held in connection with the World Classical Tamil Conference at Coimabtore last month. The contest, Sanga Tamizh Anaithum Thaa, offered cash prizes of Rs one lakh, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 for the top three winners. The prizes were awarded by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.
