S.D. Harvey Short Story Award 2010 Shortlist Announced
Scribe Publications in association with the Ned Kelly Awards is pleased to announce the shortlist for the 2010 S.D. Harvey Short Story Award:

Robert Goodman THE TRAVERTINE FOUNTAIN
Zane Lovitt LEAVING THE FOUNTAINHEAD
Lucy Sussex THE FOUNTAIN OF JUSTICE

The winner will be announced at the Ned Kelly Awards at the Melbourne Writers’ Festival on 3 September at 7 p.m. at the Festival Club, ACMI. The winning story will be published in Scribe’s anthology New Australian Stories 2.0.

The S.D. Harvey Short Story Award was established in 2009 to honour the memory of the fearless investigative journalist Sandra Harvey, who died in 2008. Each year the judges choose a particular word that must be included in the story’s title and represented in the story. This year the word was: Fountain.
