Suneetha Bala's Malayalam translation of "Rani," (a historical fiction based on the life of Indian Freedom Fighter Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi) by Jaishree Misra will be released at the DC Books Fair at Thrissur on the 21st of August. This book which in its original English version runs to 416 pages was banned by the UP State government for its alleged references to the iconic queen's personal life.
