Muslim Congress Poetry Slam
The Muslim Congress held their second annual MC Poetry Slam last July 4th in Miami, Florida, building off from the success of last year's amazing program, with more artists, more poetry, and more energy. The Poetry Slam was one of the major highlights of the Muslim Congress conference with amazing repeat performances by poets including Mohammad Yahya Naqvi, Ebrahim Mohseni, and Sister Safiyyah Abdullah from last year. Some of the exciting new additions were Yusuf Trombly from Blak Madeen and Black Steven from Stormshadowz, among many others. There was also a short talk on 'Da'wah' by Hamza Perez from New Muslim.
