Mokpo English Village was made specifically for children who are the model figures to become familiar with English. Children learn English and about English-speaking cultures by communicating with native speakers in educational and entertaining situations.
Students coming to MPEV experience the various real-life situations. For example, they can make purchases in the department store and order their meals in restraurant class. Students can also deposit and withdraw money in bank class. The hope is that our young people would be able to use these skills in real-life situations when they travel in other countries.

Job Description
MPEV(Mokpo English Village is looking for full-time English instructors.
A native speaker of English with a bachelor degree and a TESOL/TEFL certificate is helpful . Experienced teaching at any level will be highly regarded.
Mokpo is a small city located in the southern part of South Korea. Unlike Seoul, this is quiet city with good weather conditions, and the people are very kind.
Mokpo English Village is an English institution mainly for elementary and middle school students.
1. Conditions
1) Contract period: September , 2010 to August 2010
2) Salary: TBD(upon qualifications)
3) Single furnished Housing is provided ( 5-10 minute-walk )
4) Severance pay upon completion of one year contract.
5) Medical insurance: 50% and pension
6) 2 weeks paid vacation + all paid holidays)
7) Teaching hours ( 8:45~ 5:45) ( 5 days a week) ) , about 25~30 hours a week / a Sunday or Saturday every 2 weeks (extra pay)
8) Airfare: fully paid

Three passport-size photos
- A certificate of degree apostilled or original degree
- Two sealed transcripts (Just in case, please keep one for your real visa application)
- State-wide (not county-wide) criminal record check: It has to be apostilled.
- Signed health statement (form to be provided) after arrival
