Ansan Hwajeong English Village in Ansan is searching for fun teachers with or without experience for a one-year contract. F2, E2 visa holder is preferred.

Our Village is not like usual private hagwons, but a semi-public school subsidized by Ansan City Government and operated by the Herald Media, which publishes the Korea Herald, Korea's No. 1 English Newspaper.

- Job description: Teaching English to usually elementary school kids, sometimes adults.
- Teaching hours: 5 days a week

About 25 45-minute classes per week between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Please compare this with other Korean hagwons' laborious working conditions. You can enjoy your cozy night life. You can't secure that in private academies.)
- Salary: 2.1-2.3 million won per month, plus a monthly salary equivalent in annual bonus
- Starting Date: Sept. 9, 2010

BENEFITS
- Airfare: Airfare reimbursed only for overseas applicants. A return ticket will be provided upon completion of a one-year contract.
- Free accommodation & free shuttle: Fully-furnished single studio apartment, in the building of which other teachers' are located. We provide a shuttle bus from the apartment to Ansan Hwajeong English Village and back.
- Free lunch whilst school is in session.
- E-2 visa sponsorship
- Vacation and holidays: Paid 3-week vacation, including Saturday, Sunday and 5-day-sick leave. Public holidays worked roll into blocks at different times of the year. If an additional contract made, an unpaid 3-week leave will be provided.
- Severance pay (bonus): One-month salary after completion of a one-year contract
- Half medical insurance paid for.
- Half national pension contributions paid for.
