Essay Writing Competition and Pantun Writing Competition
In conjunction with the month-long 53rd Merdeka Day Celebrations, the National News Agency of Malaysia (BERNAMA) is organising an Essay Writing Competition and an Pantun Writing Competition. To foster the spirit of Merdeka among the University fraternity, UiTM's Corporate Communications Department would like to invite our students, academics and staff, and children of academics and staff who are eligible, to participate in both competitions. The closing date of the competitions is 30 August 2010.
Details of the competitions are as follows :
1. The language to be used in both competitions is the Malay language;
2. Participants for each competition are divided into three categories, namely:
-Secondary Schools
-Institutions of Higher Learning
-Adults
3. The title for the Essay Competition: Apakah impianmu bagi Malaysia 10 tahun dari sekarang berdasarkan/selepas transformasi negara dan dalam konteks Gagasan 1Malaysia?;
4. For the Pantun Writing Competition, participants are required to form an eight-line verse with the theme: Gagasan 1Malaysia: Menjana Transformasi;
