[4:30pm - 5:30pm] HipHop vs. Spoken Word: A Battle of Theories

Is today's spoken-word movement an off-shoot of hip-hop? Is spoken-word solo theatre? Verse-hurlers Emily XYZ, Miles Merrill, David Ghostboy Stavanger and Fred Leone sling theories.
