Description: IslamicPoetry.org is a new internet poetry site entirely dedicated to Islamic poetry. Our mission is to encourage poets of all ages, nationalities, and cultures to submit their poetry on various Islamic themes in order to have their heartfelt inspirations heard and serve as a means to benefit readers from different communities around the world. Poems in praise of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), and a variety of other Islamic topics, are found in abundance in the various lands and languages of the Muslim World such as Arabic, Chinese, Dari, Malay, Pashto, Turkish, Urdu, among many others. The great significance of encouraging others to strive and apply themselves in composing such poetry should not be belittled or forgotten. It is a symbol of Islamic renaissance, and we hope to encourage people in the West and abroad to take part in its preservation and revitalization. Since many Muslims living in the West, consider English to be their first language, we hope this website will, God willing, help to promote and advance Islamic poetry in the English language. Although the goal of this website is quite simple and transparent, the benefits derived from its atmosphere of healthy competition and co-operation will be far-reaching.
